Every year in spring, gourmets and asparagus fans enjoy the delicious dishes of the “Terlan Asparagus Weeks”, accompanied by Terlan Sauvignon, which is considered the ideal asparagus wine.
Practical are the connections to South Tyrol’s cities of Bolzano and Merano by train, bike path and road (about 10 to 15 minutes by car). A cable car runs from the village of Vilpian to the highlands of the Salten, which are about 1000 meters higher: The family-friendly hiking area at the foot of the Sarntal Alps is waiting to be discovered.
